Our destination-specific travel health advice is provided via secure telehealth. In situations where telehealth isn't possible, it can be done by phone. All relevant health details of the traveller are maintained on a secure health database. Every effort is made to collect past vaccination records at the first contact, allowing us to update the individual's Australian Immunisation Register (AIR). An easily accessible whole-of-life record reduces unnecessary vaccinations in future last-minute travel.

Our comprehensive service covers pre-travel health risk assessments, destination-specific education, vaccination referrals, anti-malarial medication, tailored travel medical kits, and ongoing telehealth support for employees during and after travel, including assistance if they become unwell while away or on return. All travellers also receive a pocketbook covering common health issues and how they can be treated. Where there are time constraints, an algorithm for the management of traveller's diarrhoea is often messaged directly.

Our travel doctors advise on which vaccinations are required or recommended for each destination. Recommended vaccinations are usually undertaken at a local pharmacy or medical practice. This has been made much easier in the last 12 months with changes in regulations for pharmacies in all states apart from WA. We provide a referral and a digital vaccination record.

Medications are provided by encrypted eScripts and medical kit letters are sent by email. Medical kit bags are also available for travellers heading to higher-risk or remote destinations.

Our telehealth model means we can consult with employees anywhere in Australia, no clinic visit required. We service teams across Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart and regional areas.

We recommend employees book a consultation at least 6 to 8 weeks before departure. Some vaccinations require multiple doses or time to build immunity. However, we also support last-minute travellers where possible.
