- Healthy Travel is a travel medicine and health service that provides:
- travel health related information via the Website
- facilitates telehealth travel medicine consultations with Australian registered travel medicine doctors (Partner Travel Medicine Practitioner)
- facilitates the referral for travel vaccination(s) to partner and non-partner vaccination providers
- provides preventative travel medical kits containing prescription, pharmacy only and non-prescription medication via our registered partner pharmacies (Partner Pharmacy Provider)

Always seek the advice of a Partner Travel Medicine Practitioner or other qualified healthcare practitioner with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, diagnosis, treatment or advice. Any information contained on this Website should be discussed with a doctor before making decisions based solely on the content contained on the Website.
3. Appointment booking
To book an online telehealth travel medicine consultation with a Partner Travel Medicine Practitioner, you may be required to create a user account with third-party provider, Health Engine. In doing so, you acknowledge and agree to Health Engine’s Terms and Use and Privacy Policy.
Online appointment scheduling is provided for convenience but does not guarantee an appointment. Healthy Travel and on behalf of its Partner Travel Medicine Practitioners, reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments as necessary.
4. Telehealth
Healthy Travel utilises Xestro to facilitate its telehealth consultations via a secure telelink. Xestro is a web-based application that complies with the Australian standard for healthcare data storage and transmission. This is an end-to-end encrypted connection between your computer (or mobile device) and the travel medicine practitioner computer. By making a telehealth travel medicine appointment, you acknowledge and agree to Xestro’s terms of use, privacy statement, and privacy policy etc.
5. Fees
Telehealth travel medicine consultations are charged as private fees and are not eligible for a Medicare Rebate, as per the Health Insurance Act (1973).
Consultation fees are payable directly to the Partner Travel Medicine Practitioner via a secure link facilitated by Tyro eCommerce.
For the purchase medical kits and/or other product discussed during the consultation, a separate invoice and payment link will be sent.
Fees displayed on the Website are given as a guide only. Our Partner Travel Medicine Practitioners may adjust their fee at their discretion at the time of consultation.
6. Payments and Refunds
Healthy Travel utilises Tyro eCommerce for online payment of Travel Medicine consultations, products and other services. You acknowledge and agree to Tyro’s Terms of Use, Privacy Statement and Consent, and Privacy Policy, which applies to your access and use of the Tyro eCommerce payment processing service.
Refunds relating to a telehealth travel medicine consultation is determined by the Partner Travel Medicine Practitioner.
Refunds relating to a pharmaceutical product is determined by the Partner Pharmacy Provider. Prescription medication, once dispensed, is not eligible for a refund or exchange.
Refunds relating to other products sold via the Website is determined by Healthy Travel.
Refunds, if applicable, will only be made using the online payment gateway to the card originally used for payment.
7. Privacy
The Healthy Travel Privacy Policy governs the collection use and disclosure of personal information.
8. User Conduct
By access the Website, you agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Healthy Travel Pty Ltd
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Use the Website for any unlawful or unethical purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
Healthy Travel Pty Ltd is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website.
